Statement of intent:
“Influenced earlier by the prehistoric rock performances, is later, and naturally that I take part in the development of the graffiti movement in the end of 80s. Over time, my approach has been enriched with inspiration from artistic movement as lyrical abstraction (informal art with G. Mathieu, H. Hartung, J. Degottex, Jay Defeo, G.Titus Caramel) and also of the free figuration as the influences of the premier art, writing and art of ancient civilizations.
My art is at the crossroads of the ancient written submissions and a graphical language “modern” based on an intimate relationship with the media, seeking a balance between the instinctive and thoughtful composition.
A range of technique and medium ranging from graffiti,going through calligraphy and engraving, allows me to highlight questioning about humanity to her origins in a common movement.
Currently through a search on the “matrix”, as fundamental to the work of engraving and more particularly “strong water” I put forward work on the trace, the footprint (the moral sens / physical) who brings a questioning of human action and its consequences.
