Biennale d’Art de Marrakech

Under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, the second edition of the Biennale of Contemporary Art will take place in Marrakesh from 16 to 19 December under the banner of diversity. Well as several places in Marrakech Sofitel Mogador Menara Ryad, Dar Cherif, David Bloch Gallery, ESAV Marrakesh and Al Maqam.
In the section “figures of contemporary art in Morocco”, reserved for galleries, the public will discover the work of several artists selected by Moroccans Galleries: Galerie Tindouf, la galerie Marsam, Mémo’Art, Akwas, Noir sur Blanc, Espace Dibaji, and Triptych Vision exhibition given by three artists who have decided to exchange views.
The section “Carte Blanche” The section “Carte Blanche” invites this year artists from Morocco, Iraq and France which express themselves through photography, video or installation; artistic practices that are just being shown by galleries in Morocco and Marrakech Biennale undertaking, through this section to open a wider audience. This section will see the participation of six students from the Applied Arts of the Hassan II high school in Marrakech. The cultural program of this edition consists of:

- During the biennial Marrakech several other artistic events will be organized in other places in the city of Marrakech to create a true artistic career in the Red City.
