A la fois peintre et sculpteur, Mist est un artiste polymorphe à qui les techniques et les médiums ne font pas peur. Il puisse son énergie dans les codes graphiques du graffiti qu’il a commencé à pratiquer en 1988 à Paris, puis aux quatre coins de la planète. Il fait partie des rares artistes issus de ce mouvement à travailler en volume. Il est d’ailleurs l’un des pionniers du phénomène designer toys, ces petites sculptures en vinyle produites en édition de 100 à 1000 pièces et vendues dans des magasins de jouets de collection.
Les spécialistes le place dans le top cinq mondial au côté d’artistes comme Kaws et Futura. Aujourd’hui, Mist se consacre pleinement à sa création dans son atelier de Montpellier, où il vit aujourd’hui.
Consacré par de nombreuses expositions personnelles ou collectives dont la dernière en date très remarquée s’est terminée en juin dernier dans une grande galerie parisienne et par plusieurs livres, MIST envahira DAVID BLOCH GALLERY avec ses peintures et ses sculptures en octobre prochain.

Both painter and sculptor, Mist is an artist for whom polymorphic techniques and mediums are no stranger. He gets his energy out of the graphic codes of graffiti which he began to practice in 1988 in Paris, and which he continued to spray in the four corners of the world. He is one of the few artists who works in large volumes.

Moreover, he is a pioneer of the phenomenon of designer toys. These little vinyl sculptures are being produced in stacks of 100 to 1000 pieces and sold as collectables in toy stores.

The art critics place him amongst the top 5 in this art form next to artists like Kaws and Futura. Currently, MIST devotes all his time to his creations in his studio in Montpellier where he lives.
